AdorationJoin us the first Friday of each month for Adoration at St. Augustine Church in the Chapel. You can contact the office to sign up for a specific time or just drop by when you are available. Come spend some time with our Lord! Alpha TeamBe part of the Alpha Team as a facilitator, table helper, caterer or set up/server. Many hands are needed for our spring adult sessions and fall teen sessions. Book ClubOur St. Ambrose Parish Book Club is your chance to get together with others for some stimulating conversation and fellowship. CatechistsCatechists are needed each year for various religious education programs from September to the first week of May. Assistant catechists and substitute teachers are always needed as well. We also need adults who want to be part for faith formation for our students with special needs. Be a part of of the faith formation of our parish youth. Music MinistryJoin together in song, under the talented direction of our music ministry director Dominic Uleano and professional choral conductor and vocal coach Dr. Muriel Maharidge. Contact the office for more information on joining our adult or youth choirs. RosaryUnite as a community every Friday evening at 7:00 p.m. to pray the Rosary in the Church at St. Monica. All are welcome. Finance CouncilAdvises the Pastor on financial matters of the parish and school. Responsible for monitoring all income and expenses, and approving the annual budgets. Offertory CountersA group that counts the funds collected at Mass each week. Each group volunteers about once a month. Parish CouncilSt. Ambrose Parish Council is involved in most activities and programs affecting the liturgical and spiritual life of the Parish. Stations of the CrossHeld Friday eveings during Lent. Check the calendar for the schedule. Ushers/GreeterVolunteers who assist people to their seat, welcome parishioners and guests and take up the collection. Knights of ColumbusOur parish Knights are a group of men who work together for the good of the parish and the community at large. Funeral MinistryThe men and women of our funeral ministry prepare and serve at funerals at both church locations. Boy Scouts/Cub ScoutsA catholic scouting troop. Call the office for more information

Baptism Preparation CouplesYoung couples with children who assist in preparing parents for the formation of their child’s faith. Extraordinary Minister of Holy CommunionExtraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion serve the Body of Christ at Mass and to the sick and homebound. Ladies GuildA group of women who serve the church and enhance the parish community. Sanctuary GuildVolunteers who care for and beautify the church for special liturgies. GreetersParish volunteers who warmly welcome parishioners as they enter the Church for Mass. Lectors/ReadersReader who proclaims the Scriptures at Mass and other services. Faith Sharing GroupOpen to all men and women to gather together for prayer and faith sharing. RCIARite of Christian Initiation – Prepares adult candidates for Catholic sacraments. Health and WellnessJoin the Health and Wellness Group to make healthy changes to your lifestyle. Monthly meeting on a variety of topics often including guest speakers. Samaritan StitchersDo you knit or crochet? This group meets bi-monthly to make prayer shawls and lap blankets for the sick and homebound and baby blankets and clothing for St. Gianna Pregnancy Resource Center. Food Pantry TeamThe Food Pantry Team meets monthly to pack bags of food for recipients in need in our community. Special gifts are prepared for the children on Christmas and Easter. Bible StudyAll are wlcome to join at anytime as we journey through the bible together. ACTSMen and Women joining together in fellowship and enhancing their faith through Adoration, Community, Theology and Service. Yearly weekend retreats are presented. Prayer ChainParishioners who provide prayers for the intentions of those in need of any special prayer. Youth GroupOpen to high school parishioners to expand their circle of friends, learn more about their faith, go on frun trips, retreats and participate in service and fellowship activites. Also open to young adults who wish to support this special service to our teens. |
