We encourage all our parishioners to get involved in one of our many ministries


Join us the first Friday of each month for Adoration at St. Augustine Church.  You can contact the office to sign up for a specific time or just drop by when you are available.  Come spend some time with our Lord!

Alpha Team

Be part of the Alpha Team as a facilitator, table helper, caterer or set up/server.  Many hands are need for our spring and fall sessions.

Book Club

Our St. Ambrose Parish Book Club is your chance to get together with others for some stimulating conversation and fellowship.


Catechists are needed each year to teach a grade 1-8 class once a week from September to the first week of May.  Assistant catechists and substitute teachers are always needed as well.  Be a part of of the faith formation of our parish youth.

Music Ministry

Join together in song, under the talented direction of our choir director John Calamita.  Contact the office for more information on joining our church choir.


Unite as a community every Friday evening at 7:00 p.m. to pray the Rosary in the Church. All are welcome.

Finance Council

Advises the Pastor on financial matters of the parish and school. Responsible for monitoring all income and expenses, and approving the annual budgets.

Offertory Counters

A group that counts the funds collected at Mass each week. Each group volunteers about once a month.

Parish Council

St. Ambrose Parish Council is involved in most activities and programs effecting the liturgical and spiritual life of the Parish.

Stations of the Cross

Held Friday evenings at 7:00 p.m. during Lent. Check the calendar for the schedule.


Volunteers who assist people to their seat if necessary. They also take up the collection.

Knights of Columbus

Our parish Knights are a group of men who work together for the good of the parish and the community at large.

Funeral Ministry

The men and women of our funeral ministry prepare and serve at funerals at both church locations.



Altar Servers

Boys and girls from grade 3 and above who assist the priest at the liturgy.

Baptism Preparation

Preparing parents for the formation of their child’s faith. Please contact the parish office at least two months in advance.

Exraordinary Minister of Holy Communion

Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion serve the Body of Christ at Mass and to the sick and homebound.

Ladies Guild

A group of women who serve the church and enhance the parish community.

Sancutary Guild

Volunteers who care for and beautify the church for special liturgies.


Parish volunteers who warmly welcome parishioners as they enter the Church for Mass.


Reader who proclaims the Scriptures at Mass and other services.

Liturgical Linen Service

Responsible for the preparation and care of the altar linens. This includes the washing and ironing of purificators, corporals, and altar linens.


Rite of Christian Initiation – Prepares adult candidates for Catholic sacraments.

Health and Wellness

Join the Health and Wellness Group to make healthy changes to your lifestyle.  Monthly meeting on a variety of topics often including guest speakers.

Samaritan Stichers

Do you knit or chrocet? This group meets bi-monthly to make prayer shawls and lap blankets for the sick and homebound and baby blankets and clothing for St. Gianna Pregnancy Resource Center.

Food Pantry Team

The Food Pantry Team meets monthly to pack bags of food for recipients in need in our community. Special gifts are prepared for the children on Christmas and Easter.

Bible Study

All are wlcome to join at anytime as we journey through the bible together.


Men and Women joining together in fellowship and enhancing their faith through Adoration, Community, Theology and Service. Yearly weekend retreats are presented.
